Old Friends, New Friends

When Jordan reached out to me and asked me to do her family portraits while I was in Sea-Town this past October, I didn’t hesitate for a few reasons. First, I’ve always admired Jordan’s style. Her ability to put new pieces together with old pieces and even restored pieces….it’s literally poetry to my soul. I aspire for the rich deep tonal walls she has in her home one day (maybe after military life). But Jordan was always fun and kind in high school. Now don’t get me wrong, we didn’t interact like close friends, but we chit chatted and our personalities seemed to always get along well. To say capturing her families sacred moments together was an honor is something I don’t say lightly. Every family I capture is a blessing to my soul, but my absolute favorite sessions are like Jordan’s. Slow, easy….please just take photos of US. This speaks volumes to my heart like a good americano on a rainy day. ;)

I hope you all enjoy the series of photos because I enjoyed capturing them all.
